How To Order

You can start the ordering process for your .Pro domains in exactly the same way as you would for a .com .net or .co.uk name from Hostway.

1. First complete a .Pro order* through our secure orderform by using any of the domain search boxes on the site.
   
   
2. Once you have reserved and paid** for your domain, you will be sent an 'Authentication & Verification' email from the registry requesting your professional eligibility information.
   
   
3. You must complete and return the A/V information by email within 44 days in order to have your domain resolve succesfully (be available to the web).
   
   
4. If the registrant fails to supply their A/V information within the allotted time, the domain will automatically become available again to the general public on the 45th day following registration.
   
   
5. If your A/V information does not pass the registry test, you will have an opportunity to resubmit your professional information within a total of 30 days as per the email’s instructions. If satisfactory information is not supplied with 7 days the domain will be deactivated. On the 31st day following the initial request, the domain will be deleted.

* In agreeing to the registry's new terms of use which are incorporated within the DomainPeople/Hostway Registration Agreement when you complete your order, you are effectively self-certifying that you are a 'professional'.

** We regret that we will NOT be able to refund monies relating to unsuccessful .Pro registrations as costs are already incurred at registry level for the processing of domain reservations and A/V information.
