CF9 Server Monitoring
ColdFusion 9 Server Monitor provides unprecedented visibility into the internal performance of your ColdFusion applications.
- When creating an application, you can use the Server Monitor to gain insight into details such as page processing time, memory usage, database query performance, and more. This helps you fine-tune code to maximize the application’s performance.
- Once the application has been deployed into a production environment, the Server Monitor can watch the status of the server to spot any performance difficulties. Alerts and other actions can help prevent memory problems, slow pages, or other issues that would negatively impact a user’s experience with the application.
CF9 Sandbox Security
- You can use Sandbox Security to control access to resources in terms of what data sources, files and directories, and external servers/ports can be accessed by ColdFusion tags and functions. You can also limit execution of dozens of potentially misused ColdFusion tags and functions themselves.
- Sandbox security allows creation of a separate definition that applies to all code in a given directory and its subdirectories on the server (called “sandboxes”), which is especially useful for hosted servers or organizational intranets running multiple unrelated ColdFusion applications.
