Businesses considering the benefits presented through the adoption of cloud services could receive encouragement following an announcement from Russell's Convenience.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the retailer would adopt the technology from IT company IBM in a bid to share information across its network of management teams.
In addition, the move is set to improve employee, customer and partner collaboration across its 24 outlets throughout the western US and Hawaii.
The company selected IBM LotusLive after staff members began to struggle with project management, as well as keeping track of everyday business issues.
Bethann Cregg, vice president of IBM Collaboration Solutions, said: "IBM business partner integrations such as TeamPoint can help solve specific business pain points and help clients embrace seamless collaboration across the organisation."
Earlier this month, the IT firm joined forces with the City of Portland in a bid to develop an interactive model of the relationships that exist within the core systems of cities.
