If you have already registered your domain name elsewhere, this information will assist you in transferring your domain name to us. The transfer process depends on the registrar with whom you registered your domain name.
If you registered a US Top Level Domain or a Non UK domain (.com, .net, .it or .ca) you need to contact your registrar company to either login and change your DNS (domain name server) information, which indicates where your website is hosted. If you have a UK domain (.co.uk or .org.uk) then you will need to ask your current registrar/host to change the IPS TAG to Hostway which is the management tag used by UK domain registrars.

Once you login, you will come across a link that allows you to change your nameserver information. Please contact other registrars directly to ask about their domain transfer procedures. Inform them that you wish to transfer your domain to Hostway, and provide them with the nameserver information listed above.
While waiting for the new nameserver information to propagate around the Internet, we recommend maintaining your site at your current host to avoid down time for your site. During this time, you can use the temporary URL such as http://mysitecom.site.securepod.com, that we provide once you sign up which will mirror your new website on Hostway's servers until the transfer of your domain name is complete.
