phpAdsNew (VPS Root Only)
phpAdsNew is an open-source ad server, with an integrated banner management interface and tracking system for gathering statistics. With phpAdsNew you can easily rotate paid banners and your own in-house advertisements. You can even integrate banners from third party advertising companies.
bbClone (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
bbclone is a web counter written in PHP and gives a detailed view of the visitors of your website by displaying the nth last users (and the data they provided, like their IP, browser and so on) that visited the website, not just showing a number of visitors. This is very handy for webmasters that want to see who is visiting their sites, what browser people use, where they came from etc. Requires additional license key upgrade for use with VPS Plesk.
phpBB2 (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
phpBB is a high powered, fully scalable, and highly customisable open-source bulletin board package. phpBB has a user-friendly interface, simple and straightforward administration panel, and helpful FAQ. Based on the powerful PHP server language and your choice of MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL or Access/ODBC database servers, phpBB is the ideal free community solution for all websites. Requires additional license key upgrade for use with VPS Plesk.
phpBook (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
phpBook is a free non-commercial guestbook utility for personal projects. phpbook is fast, good-looking and also secure and has some small functions to prevent spamming.Requires additional license key upgrade for use with VPS Plesk.
Simple Search (VPS Root Only)
Simple Search is a small and quick search script that crawls on-line through your website. It looks for the text entered in the text box and displays in the result page all the pages that match the search criteria numbered from 1. Below each page found there is a preview of up to 2 lines of the found text. Also, searches are not case sensitive and HTML tags are ignored.
The result page also displays the search box with the searched text displayed as entered in the search form. Both the search form and the result page are very light and both can be easily integrated into your website's look and feel.
Proftpd (VPS Root Only)
ProFTPD grew out of the desire to have a secure and configurable FTP server, and out of a significant admiration of the Apache web server. There are currently a very limited number of FTP servers running on Unix (or Unix-like) hosts. The most commonly used server is wu-ftpd. While wu-ftpd provides excellent performance and is generally a good product, it lacks numerous features found in newer Win32 FTP servers and has a poor security history. Many people, including the developers who work on ProFTPD, have spent a great deal of time fixing bugs and hacking features into wu-ftpd. Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that a complete redesign was necessary in order to implement the configurability and features desired. ProFTPD is not a hack based on any other server, it's an independent source tree from the ground up.

Coding:
Mod_Perl (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
mod_perl brings together the full power of the Perl programming language and the Apache HTTP server. You can use Perl to manage Apache, respond to requests for web pages and much more.
Mod_SSL (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
This module provides strong cryptography for the Apache 1.3 webserver via the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1) protocols by the help of the Open Source SSL/TLS toolkit OpenSSL, which is based on SSLeay from Eric A. Young and Tim J. Hudson.
Mod_Frontpage (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
This is a module for the Apache HTTP Server . It replaces the Apache-FP patches and module supplied with the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions available from Microsoft and Ready-to-Run Software .
Using this module allows you to use advanced features of the FrontPage client with your Apache HTTP Server (e.g. creating FrontPage enabled subwebs using the FrontPage client in contrast to creating them as user "root" with "fpinstall.sh" or the "fpsrvadm.exe"-utility on the system's shell).

JDK / JRE (VPS Root Only)
There are two principal products in the J2SE platform family: Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (JRE) and Java 2 Software Development Kit, Standard Edition (SDK). The JRE provides the Java APIs, Java virtual machine, and other components necessary to run applets and applications written in the Java programming language. It is also the foundation for the technologies in the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) for enterprise software development and deployment. The JRE does not contain tools and utilities such as compilers or debuggers for developing applets and applications.
The Java 2 SDK is a superset of the JRE, and contains everything that is in the JRE, plus tools such as the compilers and debuggers necessary for developing applets and applications.

Webmin (VPS Root Only)
Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Unix. Using any browser that supports tables and forms (and Java for the File Manager module), you can setup user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing and so on.
Webmin consists of a simple web server, and a number of CGI programs which directly update system files like /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/passwd. The web server and all CGI programs are written in Perl version 5, and use no non-standard Perl modules.
Usermin (VPS Root Only)
Usermin is a web interface that can be used by any user on a Unix system to easily perform tasks like reading mail, setting up SSH or configuring mail forwarding. It can be thought of as a simplified version of Webmin designed for use by normal or end- users rather than system administrators.
Like Webmin, Usermin consists of a simple web server, and a number of CGI programs which directly update user config files like ~/.cshrc and ~/.forward. The web server and all CGI programs are written in Perl version 5, and use only the non-standard Authen::PAM perl module.

While PostgreSQL retains the powerful data model and rich data types of POSTGRES, it replaces the PostQuel query language with an extended subset of SQL. PHPMyAdmin (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
PHPMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the Web. Currently it can create and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute any SQL statement, manage keys on fields, manage privileges, export data into various formats and is available in 47 languages.
PHPPGAdmin (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
PHPPgAdmin is a web-based administration tool for PostgreSQL. It is perfect for PostgreSQL DBAs, newbies and hosting services. Requires additional license key upgrade for use with VPS Plesk.

Plesk AntiVirus by Dr.Web (VPS Plesk Only)
Plesk AntiVirus by Dr.Web is an award winning virus scanning and filtering software. This product is completely integrated with Plesk 7 Reloaded, but can also be used with other control panels. Plesk AntiVirus provides reliable, efficient and cost effective protection of your customers' mailboxes against worms, Trojans and other damaging viruses.Requires additional license key upgrade for use with VPS Plesk.
Spam Assassin (VPS Root + VPS Plesk)
SpamAssassin(tm) is an opensource email filter that identifies and classifies spam.
Using its rule base, it uses a wide range of heuristic tests on mail headers and body text to identify "spam", also known as unsolicited commercial email. Requires additional license key upgrade for use with VPS Plesk.
FormMail (VPS Root Only)
FormMail is a generic HTML form to e-mail gateway that parses the results of any form and sends them to the specified users. This script has many formatting and operational options, most of which can be specified within each form, meaning you don't need programming knowledge or multiple scripts for multiple forms. This also makes FormMail the perfect system-wide solution for allowing users form-based user feedback capabilities without the risks of allowing freedom of CGI access. There are several downloading options available below and more information on this script can be found in the Readme file. FormMail is quite possibily the most used CGI program on the internet, having been downloaded over 2,000,000 times since 1997.
UW-IMAP (VPS Root Only)
IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) is a method of accessing electronic messages kept on a (possibly shared) mail server. This site provides information about and links to the University of Washington IMAP toolkit (IMAP-supporting software developed by the UW) and two IMAP-related mailing lists hosted by the UW. Open Webmail (VPS Root Only)
Open WebMail is a webmail system based on Neomail. Open WebMail is designed to manage very large mail folder files in a memory efficient way. It also provides a range of features to help users migrate smoothly from Microsoft Outlook to Open WebMail.

Majordomo (VPS Root Only)
Majordomo is a program which automates the management of Internet mailing lists. Commands are sent to Majordomo via electronic mail to handle all aspects of list maintenance. Once a list is set up, virtually all operations can be performed remotely by email, requiring no intervention upon the postmaster of the list site.
Mailman (VPS Root Only)
Mailman is free software for managing electronic mail discussion and e-newsletter lists. Mailman is integrated with the web, making it easy for users to manage their accounts and for list owners to administer their lists. Mailman supports built-in archiving, automatic bounce processing, content filtering, digest delivery, spam filters, and more. See the features page for details. Mailman is free software, distributed under the GNU General Public License. Mailman is written in the Python programming language, with a little bit of C code for security.

Analog (VPS Root Only)
Analog is a program that measures the usage on your web server. It tells you which pages are most popular, which countries people are visiting from, which sites they tried to follow broken links from, and all sorts of other useful information.
AWStats (VPS Root Only)
AWStats is a free powerful and featureful tool that generates advanced web, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. This log analyzer works as a CGI or from command line and shows you all possible information your log contains, in few graphical web pages. It uses a partial information file to be able to process large log files, often and quickly. It can analyze log files from IIS (W3C log format), Apache log files (NCSA combined/XLF/ELF log format or common/CLF log format), WebStar and most of all web, proxy, wap, streaming servers, mail servers (and some ftp).
