ASP.NET - Active Server Pages
ASP pages are HTML pages containing scripts (VBScript or JavaScript) that are processed by a Web server before the page displays to the user. Because ASP pages are dynamically generated, they enable you to tailor or customise your Web content to the person viewing it. ASP.net is the next generation of Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) ; it supports code written in compiled languages like C++, C# and Visual BasicASP.
